Meet Kamoya Monteith

Kamoya Monteith was born and raised in Kilmarnock, Jamaica. As an 8th-grade student at St. Elizabeth Technical High School in Santa Cruz, Jamaica, she tragically lost her mother, placing her education at risk. With her father struggling to cover tuition and related costs, Kamoya faced the possibility of dropping out. That’s where Paving the Way stepped in. Through our scholarship support, Kamoya could continue her studies and stay on track toward a brighter future. At Paving the Way, we believe no child’s education should be derailed by financial hardship, and Kamoya’s story is just one example of how we’re making a lasting impact, one student at a time.
